About Rev G.
Reverend Gerald Gyane, affectionately known as Rev G — a pastor, leader, and servant whose life is governed by a single unwavering conviction.
Every person carries a God-given purpose greater than they have yet imagined, and the Church exists to help them discover, step into, and live it out.
A Heart Set Apart.
Reverend Gerald Gyane serves as the Senior Pastor of Hope City Church in Milton Keynes, a community he loves deeply and pours himself into wholeheartedly. For him, ministry has never been a profession. It is a calling, and one that informs everything about how he leads, preaches, relates to people, and engages the world each day.
What people notice first is rarely his title. It is the way he makes them feel seen. Whether addressing a room of thousands or sitting with one person through a difficult season, Rev G is animated by the same unshakeable conviction: every individual matters, every story carries weight, and the grace of God is more than sufficient for all of it. His respect spans every age and background, earned not by position but by the quality of his character.
Wherever Rev G has led, transformation has followed. Congregations grow in spiritual maturity, financial health, and numerical strength, and a culture emerges marked by hope, faith, innovation, and a deep heart of servitude. He carries a rare instinct for both the prophetic and the practical, and an uncommon capacity to bring stability, momentum, and genuine increase to all he touches.

As the National Youth Director of The Church of Pentecost UK, one of Britain's most significant and far-reaching Pentecostal movements, Rev G holds a profound responsibility for the rising generation of the church. He has restructured the national youth architecture from the ground up, expanding the PENSA-UK campus network, establishing a formal Youth Directorate, and deploying area leadership across the United Kingdom.
His driving conviction is as simple as it is far-reaching: how the church invests in young people today will determine the church's tomorrow. Young people are not the future of the church. They are the church, right now, and Rev G's calling is to make sure they walk in that truth.
His national mandate extends well beyond youth ministry. He works across the broader governance and organisational life of CoP-UK, bringing the same intentionality to institutional development that he brings to the pulpit, and helping the movement grow in both health and lasting capacity.
Human Relations as a Spiritual Discipline.
Among Rev G's most distinctive qualities is the way he seamlessly integrates his professional expertise into every dimension of his pastoral calling. Holding a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management and Law and fully qualified with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), he brings to the church a rare and invaluable understanding of people: what motivates them, how they are best led, how they are protected, and the conditions under which they truly flourish.
This expertise flows naturally into every arena of his work. From the governance frameworks and HR infrastructure he has shaped for CoP-UK, to the sermons and presentations he crafts with precision and pastoral warmth, to the way he navigates complex relational dynamics with wisdom and care, Rev G consistently creates environments where people feel genuinely valued, heard, and safe.
In his hands, professional expertise in human relations and Spirit-led pastoral leadership are not competing disciplines; they are one and the same. The result is a leader who builds trust with remarkable ease, holds people together across every kind of difference, and mirrors the heart of God toward all he serves.
The Church Belongs in the Streets.
Community engagement, for Rev G, is not a programme. It is a posture — a deeply held conviction that the Church must be present and active in the very world it has been commissioned to serve. Under his leadership, Hope City Church has spearheaded several impactful community initiatives that carry the love of God into the heart of Milton Keynes and beyond.
With diversity and multiculturalism woven into the very fabric of his leadership, he is building a church that does not wait for the world to come to its doors. It goes.
His vision is unambiguous: the name of Jesus echoed in streets, schools, communities, and across every social media platform, and the life of Jesus made visible through deeds, speech, and conduct in the witness of an effectively discipled church. In Rev G's understanding, the Church is not a sanctuary to withdraw into but a people sent out, to serve, to proclaim, and to make the grace of God unmistakably real in the world.
His Greatest Partnership.
At the heart of Rev G's life and ministry stands his marriage to Mrs Christina Gyane, a Financial Risk Director, whose faith, love, and steadfast presence have been a constant anchor through every season of ministry. Their union is a living testimony to the covenant love he so passionately preaches. He is not merely a pastor who speaks about strong marriages; he is a husband who labours daily to build one.
Together, they model a love rooted in faith, sustained by grace, and growing in beauty. Together, they are committed to something far greater than themselves: advancing the mission of God and serving the Church with excellence, unity, and joy.
